How a claim runs
Six steps from call to check
- 01
Step 1: You call or write
Tell me what happened and what the insurer has said. I tell you, plainly, whether I can help.
- 02
Step 2: I read the file
Medical records, the incident report, the insurer's letters. I ask for what's missing.
- 03
Step 3: We file, or we answer
A new claim gets filed. A denied one gets a request for a hearing. Either way I handle the paperwork.
- 04
Step 4: We build the record
Your doctor's opinion, your work history and any witnesses go in the record ahead of the hearing.
- 05
Step 5: A hearing or an offer
Either a judge decides or the insurer makes an offer. I tell you what I'd do and the choice is yours.
- 06
Step 6: After the decision
I check that the benefits you were awarded arrive, and that your medical care keeps being approved.
What it costs
Nothing up front
The fee comes out of an award, not out of your pocket today.
A judge or the board sets the fee and it comes out of your award, so nothing is due up front. Case costs such as medical reports and records can be separate; I explain them in writing first.
If there's no award, there's no fee. Costs are the one thing that can still be yours, and I tell you what they are before I spend anything.

Start with the call
One call and you'll know what comes next.
